Duster Joins The Ground Control Touring Artist Roster

Posted 03/18/2019

Ground Control Touring is proud to announce the addition of Duster to our touring roster

In the late 1990s Clay Parton and Dove Amber started recording songs full of hiss, fuzz and dismay on shitty four track machines to take themselves to the moon and beyond, eventually adding Jason Albertini as a third pilot. After recording a few more records at home and only playing a handful of shows, they disappeared from earth for a decade and a half. Now the three have returned from the void of space.

While away, Duster’s legacy was fortified and they became,‘Your favorite indie band’s favorite indie band’ (Stereogum). At the end of 2018 they boarded the ship to perform for the first time in almost a two decades, selling out long waited shows to new fans and those who held on. This July–August Duster will play Brooklyn Steel with Snail Mail and make their live debut in a few cities on the East Coast. A new record comes out in 2019 on Muddguts.
