Two new roster additions announced; Royal Headache and Marching Church!

We’re stoked to be welcoming two new bands to our roster this week; Australian garage punks Royal Headache and Marching Church, lead by Iceage frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt.

Hailing from Sydney, Royal Headache are a vital band within Australia’s DIY, garage punk scene. They craft tight, irresistible, soul-inflected punk songs and hone a universal message of redemption through passion. Their debut, self-titled album combines the pacing and discipline of years in the punk trenches with the unrefined anguish of fresh heartbreak. Royal Headache focus on the basic elements – a beat, a hook, pure power – and patent their own brand of reverb-laden, fuzzed out garage rock with the heartfelt tremble of singer Shogun’s wails.

Marching Church was at one time the solo project of Iceage frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, but has since morphed into a full band project comprised of members from Lower, Puce Mary, Choir of Young Believers, and Hand of Dust. Their debut album This World Is Not Enough will be released on March 30 on Posh Isolation in Europe and on March 31 on Sacred Bones in the US + rest of the world.
