Rising Band Saintseneca Joins Ground Control Touring!

It is with great pleasure that we announce Saintseneca as our newest signing. A rising band from Columbus, Ohio, Saintseneca made its start playing folk-leaning songs alongside punk and hardcore bands in the DIY music scene.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Zac Little hails from from the rural hills of Appalachia, a solitary and dramatic landscape that has infused the band’s songs with a sense of introspection and some striking narratives. Musically, Saintseneca employs a wide range of acoustic instrumentation such as balalaika, mandolin, dulcimer, Turkish Baglama paired with modern synthesizers and electric guitars.

On their last album, ‘Dark Arc’, the band worked with producer Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, M. Ward, First Aid Kit) to create a textured album that exhibits them as both a minimalistic folk and soaring rock band. It was the band’s first full-length release with Anti- records with whom they’ll be putting out their next album this fall.
