Hinson's Take-Away Show is beautiful, artfully recorded at the Bassin de L'Arsenal. Blogotheque only has glowing things to say about the performance: "When he sings, he gives the impression that he is trying to channel something that comes from far beyond. His songs are small boats being hurled about on the raging waters of a voice that never stops rumbling, songs that we imagine crouched like a wildcat, ready to pounce, until suddenly they end and all is calm." Blogotheque is a French music blog that was founded in 2006. It's risen to be a major taste-making force through its on-line video series, Take-Away Shows. Each show features an artist giving an impromptu performance somewhere on the streets of Paris. They have a reputation for featuring the best up-and-comers out there, as well as excellent, established indie acts.
