Ground Control Touring Welcomes Timmy Hefner As Newest Agent

We’re thrilled to announce that Timmy Hefner, of Austin, TX, is joining us as our newest agent. Timmy got his start booking shows when he was a teenager as a way to get the bands he liked to come to the small town where he grew up. He then established himself as a respected promoter in Austin, producing shows at all the major clubs as well as the eight-year-old Chaos in Tejas festival. His label 540 Records is on its 34th release. This varied experience and the relationships he built within the industry made becoming an agent a natural choice, and he’s been booking bands for several years on his own. His clients include Daughn Gibson, ICEAGE, Merchandise, and The Young. He’s got great taste and an approach that’s in line with our philosophy. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on board.
