Ground Control Touring is hiring an Administrative Assistant, to be based in our Brooklyn office.

Ground Control Touring is a boutique booking agency with offices in Brooklyn, NY and Los Angeles, CA. We represent a diverse roster of acts which includes Angel Olsen, Big Thief, Conor Oberst, Girlpool, Hop Along, Japanese Breakfast, Jenny Lewis, Kurt Vile, Parquet Courts, and many others.

The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide variety of duties in support of our agents and agency associates. The ideal candidate is someone who is professional and personable, able to multitask effectively (while prioritizing time-sensitive projects) and attentive to details both large and small.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

· Phones/reception
· Processing show information into database
· Managing flow of contracts and deposits
· Monitoring ticket sales and promotion
· Website optimization and social media supervision
· Management and upkeep of office facilities, supplies and calendars
· Oversight of internship program

Applicants should possess the following skills/experience:

· Prior office/administrative experience required. Music industry experience is preferred.
· Computer (Mac, Microsoft Office Suite) and internet (Gmail, Google Docs) proficiency
· Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
· Unparalleled organizational, time management and problem-solving instincts

This is a fast-paced office. We run a tight ship, but are also avid show-goers and music fans. We hope the person who joins us will be a music lover who is as committed as we are to the development of our artists’ careers.
