Devon Welsh Joins The Ground Control Touring Artist Roster

We’re excited to announce that Devon Welsh is the newest addition to the Ground Control Touring roster!

The Montreal-based musician is best known as the frontman for the electronic duo Majical Cloudz. Following the group’s 2016 breakup, Welsh is releasing his debut solo record, Dream Songs. Recorded and produced by Austin Tufts (Braids), the album is composed of reflections on time, separation, the complexities of love, will, eternal life, the seasons, and features more “traditional” elements than his previous work, such as guitar, piano, and a string quartet.

Dream Songs continues and expands the ideas that were explored with Majical Cloudz, it acts as evidence of his growth as a songwriter and is his most mature work to date.
