Bembona Signs with Ground Control Touring

Bembona is a staple in the NYC nightlife and social activism communities and today we are excited to announce her as the newest artist on Ground Control Touring.

As a selector, Bembona blends artists spanning from merengue, baile funk, salsa dura to contemporary hip-hop, Afrobeats and reggaeton. Her unique voice has earned her recognition beyond the dance halls of NYC recently releasing mixes for Boiler Room’s new System series and AAC Sound Series.

She may be best known as a selector by night, but by day she is an active member in her community. Her work represents and pushes forward the Afro-Diasporadical movement (Latinx, African, Caribbean, Indigenous) with the purpose of empowering and bridging the gap between POC communities
